Perm Mayor Eduard Sosnin presented WWII veterans with medals for the 80th anniversary of Victory

Commemorative jubilee medals on behalf of the President of Russia were solemnly presented by the head of the city Eduard Sosnin to 5 veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
Among those awarded was Viktor Pavlovich Alikin, he served in the reconnaissance aviation regiment as the first mechanic. Viktor Pavlovich was demobilized in 1950 and, having received an education, subsequently devoted his entire life to science.
The head of the city also presented a medal to Margarita Pavlovna Korableva. In 1939, her family moved to Lithuania, and during the war they were captured by the German army. Margarita Pavlovna and her relatives survived several concentration camps and were able to return to Perm only two years later. Here the woman received an education and devoted her entire life to her city.
Natalya Ivanovna Dzhamalskaya, a resident of besieged Leningrad, was evacuated to the village of Denisovska. She was also awarded by the head of Perm Eduard Sosnin. Natalya Ivanovna was able to get an education, start a family and build a life in Perm, although memories of Leningrad are always with her.
Rufina Anatolyevna Vinokur, an active member of the city council of veterans "Perm landing", was also noted. Rufina Anatolyevna also survived the siege of Leningrad. Her family survived thanks to evacuation along the so-called "Road of Life".
The head of Perm awarded Ekaterina Feodosievna Fominykh, a prisoner of concentration camps. Ekaterina Feodosievna was in concentration camps in Austria, Germany and Poland, and was released in 1945.
